Our Story
Between passion
and know-how
Jean Bailly, a young Parisian mechanic, decided to follow his heart to Alsace to join his wife Simone. Quickly integrated into the family winery in Ribeauvillé, he brought his passion and innovative ideas, combining modern techniques with respect for tradition.
Eric, the eldest son, inherits this passion. After traveling the world, he naturally joined the family business, bringing new ideas to perpetuate the heritage and strive for excellence.
In 1991, Jean and Eric chose the Cave de Ribeauvillé to vinify their grapes, allowing them to concentrate on viticulture. Their philosophy: to make great wines, you first need beautiful grapes, with respect for Nature and Man.
Today, Jean Bailly Alsace wines are recognized for their exceptional quality, complexity and ageing potential. Straightforward, well-balanced wines you can rely on.
"Continuing Jean Bailly's legacy means perpetuating a tradition of excellence and innovation, while remaining faithful to the values of meticulous work and respect for Nature."
Éric Bailly
